Q. I will be dressing up my dog for the Parade. How can I keep them safe during the event?
A. It’s important to keep your dog cool, calm and happy in their costumes. We recommend trying on the costume before the event to make sure it fits comfortably. If he or she seems distressed or shows abnormal behavior, consider letting your pet wear a festive bandana or a more minimal costume. Also make sure the costume doesn’t hinder his/her ability to move, breathe or bark.
Q. Will there be food?
A. Absolutely! There will be food for purchase through participating food trucks.
Q. What can my kids do at Toby’s Pet Parade & Fair?
A. Kiddos will love the games, face painting and demos that will be at the Fair!
Q. What tips do you have for handling my dog at this event?
A. We recommend keeping a 5 foot distance between your dog and others while always on a leash. If you notice your dog getting stressed, please try to remove them for a break. You know your dog best!
